i'm so ES-SEE-AR-EE-DOUBLIEU-EE-DEE(s-c-r-e-w-e-d)

H...e.....l.......p.......... I'm so screwed.

Just spent the afternoon staring at one qn. Yes. One qn. For three hours! AH! Aircraft performance is difficult. And the notes are rather.... inadequate... in my opinion. Mabbe i should ask the cleaner on my floor how to do it. I'm not kidding. Kinda got to know him through the days of staying here. and he told me he's a aeronautics grad from Columbia. Now working and saving money to do his masters. hmm... now give up le. move on to revise other things. Go tutorial to absorb tmr...

And spent the morning trying to understand how to do inverse laplace transform. Looked simple enough, but when it came to qns.... No idea. Going to school tmr for my tutorials to find out how to do those stuff. Thank goodness my maths tutor has changed to a reaaally good one now. In the first term it was this guy who came in to drink coffee and read newspapers. from russia. He happens to be my lecturer now. but surprisingly i think he's a really good lecturer, compared to the previous italian guy who makes mistakes all the time. Yup my math tutor is now really good. no idea which country he's from. I don't even know his name. I just know he's really good. he voluteers to go thru qns! And he goes around to ask pple one by one if they have any qns... rare breed. but i'm thankful for him. Maths tutorials are finally getting useful. Looks like maths department does have good pple. It's just that i saw the worst first.

Thermodynamics is another tricky customer. And the notes are not the most organised as well. Hmm.... Back home it's really quite spoon fed, but here... it's rather different. which is good/ bad? depends. I like to be spoon fed. i'm lazy. but den again... it's good to be an independent learner.. I don't know blahblahblah!!! GRRRRAAAAAAAAH. *BISH* gnagnagna... BAWL!!! grrrr.... *prrt* GAH!!!! help i'm going mad. my ignorance is driving me nuts. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA -_-" xiao liao.

yea just coming here to put up this post cos... one, i haven't updated it for a long time. two, just letting everyone reading here know... i'm still alive but i'm gonna be so DEAD! x_x hahaha. yes mummy *touchwood*. heh.

Ah. don't worry. I'm insured. But gotta study harder... cos my insurance doesn't cover my bond payment? wat do you call that. I dunno. yeah. 35 more days to my first paper. falala. Still got other things to keep an eye on... busy busy. But at least there're still things to look forward to... Oh well. Time to go back to struggling. I'm such a geek. but i've played too much for the year. time to get geeky.

It's not that i'm a neat person. I'm messy. Just that i hide the mess from view when i'm working. haha. heh. zi qi qi ren rite. but oh well... er... heh. at least my work area "looks" neat! bleaaah. Posted by Hello

this is the "work area" haha. one look up and i get back the "oh man i'm so in deep shit" feeling. haha. talk about motivation.see the cookies on the top left of the pic? heh. Mcvitie's Milk Chocolate Digestives 2 for 1.70pounds! heh. Supposed to be brain food but brain food always seem to accumulate at the tummy region. WEIRD.... muahaha. Posted by Hello

hmm... after a week of slow study... reading notes... taking notes... i can say i'm now rather warmed up! heh. Since today went totally to plan, almost totally... haha. and i have some free time... lemme blog! Heh. Here's my table. When i study i have a very important requirement, which is that my workspace is neat. and not cluttered. Not sure why. but messy workareas get me irritable. Yeah. Posted by Hello

EXAMINATION

Hmm... actually wanted to post up my exams date. But. Nevermind. haha...

Yup. won't be so active here for a while. Can't be posting pictures of me studying rite. or.... sleeping... or... eating... or... sleeping... or... eating... or... studying... yeah you get the idea. how come it's 2 parts eating/sleeping one part studying. HAHAHA. oops. *shrug*

kk. before i sign off from this blog for a while, let me share a quote that has been in my head for a couple of months now. I'm can't remember who came up with it, but it's not me. heh.

"While it is true that
You don't know what you've had
till it's gone,
It's also true that
You don't know wat you've been missing
till it arrives."

UKHost Visit To The Honeysett Family

Haven't updated this place for quite a while and i'm terribly sorry bout that. Been trying to get down to some proper revision since i got back from manchester (that didn't work out) and after that week, i set off down south to Farncombe, Surrey with Changyong for our UKHost visit to the Honeysett family! I went down on 1 April actually, and came back to london on the 2nd, but i'm only putting up this pose on the 8th, becos it's been really *arrgh!* with so many things to do. So i'm taking this morning off to do all the things i should have done but haven't, (like coming here and saying thanks to Ian, Jan and family) But "Hello" had to fail on me now, so i'm going to hafta post the pictures a little later.

The train ride down was quick. only just about 45 minutes, so it was good. It was a nice quiet area, and compared to Farncombe, the south kensington(where i stay now) is like a high rise area, where houses are abt 5 storeys. But then again, compared to back home in Singapore where high rise housing can reach as high 30 storeys, hmmm... Ok. nevermind about that. At the house, one of the first things i noticed was how many "collages" of the family, and family members they've got all over the house. It was really nice. And we met the first of 2 cats, lying on one of the beds! The first one was a black cat named "Mo". She was really friendly, and Jan told us that she likes guys. Well i'm glad i'm a guy. And Mo did seem to like us. haha. My limited knowledge of cats led me to think that she was rather unhappy with what i called "growling noises" but after asking Jan, i found out that those "growls" were actually just purring. And it means she's pleased?? yea. now i know! We also met Ian, whom i felt rather embarrassed cos i guessed he must have been busy with work on a friday afternoon but still took time to talk to us for abit.

Jan took us for a walk around the town by the river, it was really pretty and nice, with her telling us about the horse drawn carriages, but pity that we didn't take any pictures, i didn't bring my camera cos Changyong brought his... (WHY!!! hahahaha. just kidding =P) After the trip, we opened up Sam's (the youngest son) mini pool table and had a go at a few games. Sam was at a music camp and we didn't get the chance to meet him. We did, however meet Amy, who came back from work at about 5pm. Not Louise (the eldest daughter) though, she was away in France studying!

2nd April morning, Ian went to the gym, and Jan went for a swim. We decided to go for a little game of tennis. Well, the tennis was a disappointment, cos the courts were under some renovation, and the tennis club courts had a tournament going on, but we did get to sneak in about half an hour of tennis, after which we went back to the house and sat under the sun, just talking. It's really nice to see Ian and Jan going for all their weekly workouts. (mum, dad and sis, are you all still going for your regular exercises huh??? =P)It's important to have regular exercise!! Yup. After lunch, we went down to watch Sam's concert, which would be the finale of his music camp, and it was great. I especially liked the Star Wars piece, and the Jazz group. Ian, Jan, you must have been proud of Sam, playing through the pain of the braces. =D. After the concert, sam went home. And i must say i wished that Sam was around more when we were there! We could have played so much more with him. Looks like boys will be boys, we liked most of the things he liked. Played a few games of Pro Evolution with him before we had to rush off to the train station.

It was a funny time to leave, really. Just when we were just starting to get to know each other better. But who knows what fate will bring? We may meet again. Sam and i are on par on Pro Evo, one game each. it would be nice to play a rubber game! hahaha. But anyhow, thank you Ian, Jan, Amy and Sam for having us for the weekend. Hope we didn't give you any trouble or inconvenience. I really really enjoyed it so much.

And before i go! I must tell everyone that Jan is a really good cook! Enjoyed all the cakes, the tomato soup, and desserts. Why are all mums (including mine!) great cooks? hmm... but why are chefs mainly male? I don't geddit. This is totally random, but i'm just curious. Okie gtg for now, i'll post the pictures up soon.
