Inside the dome. Trying hard to be artistic. bah. Posted by Picasa

The Berlin Reichstag. The glass dome is behind, where we can actually look into their parliament when it is in action. The germans took the word transparency very literally. Posted by Picasa

Brandeenburger Tor and the big soccer ball. Posted by Picasa

Viv and me ontop of the TV tower in Berlin. The TV tower was actually built by the east berliners to show the west berliners how well they were doing. It looks terribly unstable, with a big ball at the top of a small tube structure., Looks like a lollipop. Posted by Picasa

Tired Melvin. Posted by Picasa

This is the new town hall of Munich! It is called the Glockenspiel, which means ringing bells or something... it has a centre piece which dances around at every 10am, 11am and 5pm, if i remember right, and it's actually not automatic! There's actually someone who runs up the tower everyday at these times, and presses a button to start it! He has to start it when the bells at the old town hall rings, so the movement and chimes are actually not synchronised!!! It lasts about 15 minutes, but everyone kinda gets bored at 10... Posted by Picasa

This is the old town hall. Which looks newer than the new town hall because the new town hall was built after the old town hall but the old town hall had to be rebuilt due to war and hence now the old town hall looks newer than the new town hall. Posted by Picasa

This is nice. Very Lord of the Rings, don't you think. It is in Munich. Posted by Picasa

i actually saw watermelons, jackfruits, pineapples and durians.... in germany! Posted by Picasa

Hmm.. I cannot remember. I think it is the Munich opera house and that guy waving to the traffic is called Friedrich. There is this famous gay general call friedrich, (like frederick), and many roads are named after him. Like friedrichstasse. Not knowing how to pronounce german, and not knowing that friedrich was a name, we spent the first few days calling it Fried Rice Stasse. Posted by Picasa

statue of a naked little baby boy who has abs!! how many baby boys have abs?! that's cool man. Posted by Picasa

Augustina biergarten in Munich. Germany was having a game. it was totally crazy! But really good to be in the country when their team is in the world cup. The germans are very passionate people. and friendly too! Posted by Picasa

Managed to get my favourite food in Germany... CURRY WURST! haha. Wurst = sausage. and Curry = Currey Ketchup. But alof of them cheat and just use ketchup. This was then topped off with some curry powder. Good stuff. The rest of the guys didn't like it so much though. Which is OK, means more for me!!! Posted by Picasa

we had some time to take a picture. We needed a break anyway. hahaha. Posted by Picasa

A long walk to the castle neuschwanstein... UPHILL!! Posted by Picasa

Outside the castle. Posted by Picasa

Many flags. The third flag has a swan in it. This is related to the history of the region, which is known as the schwangau, or swan domain, where knights of the swan stayed at this region.  Posted by Picasa

View of the Rhien river from the top of Loreley. This river will run all the way to Koln, our next stop. Posted by Picasa

This is where we stayed when we were at the Rhine valley! It is a youth hostel... for KIDS! damn. we were like overaged. But it was fun chasing the little children around when they said "boo." and see them laughin while running away. So easily amused. That's why they are so beautiful. Posted by Picasa

Throwing stones along river Rhein just in front of the beatiful naked Miss Loreley, who really needs some clothes, porr thing. Oh, Miss Loreley is a statue, btw. haha. Posted by Picasa

This is one cool urinal inspired by the guillotine in one of the castles along the Rhein valley. fortunately for the users the blade is no longer operational. Posted by Picasa

Inside the Koln Dom. This is the main attraction in Cologne, a.k.a. Koln. I don't know why the english and german names are so different. But anyway, it's very beautiful! We climbed up the 506 stairs to the top to have a bird's eye view of Koln! Nice! But abit dizzy to walk up so many spiral steps. Posted by Picasa

The fan zone in front of the Koln Dom. Security is pretty tight around here.... you know they mean business when they throw away your... water bottles. I think it's just a ploy to make you buy their drinks. Bah. Posted by Picasa
